Unexpected events will undoubtedly arise as you go through life. You’ll make errors, embarrass yourself, and that’s okay.

Learn from your mistakes and setbacks, and be grateful for the progress you’re making.

If you’re feeling particularly overwhelmed or frustrated, a useful exercise is to ask yourself, “Are my thoughts helpful? How do they behave?” This can help bring a sense of peace as your mind doesn’t have an answer to your logic.

Remember that you don’t have complete control over your thoughts, of which you have around 50,000 per day, most of them being negative. However, you can control what you choose to focus on and think about.

“We are dying from overthinking. We are slowly killing ourselves by thinking about everything. Think. Think. Think. You can never trust the human mind anyway. It’s a death trap.” — Anthony Hopkins.

In our lives, we do not get to control our thoughts, or what they generally are. But we do get to decide what our actions are. And that’s the most important output we have, right?

“Actions speak louder than words” — ever heard of that? But words are still an output. Thoughts are not an output, but…
