From a neuroscience perspective, our brain’s pathways are responsible for our behavior and patterns of behavior. Therefore, set small goals, achieve them and celebrate them.

This creates pathways, possibly new, resulting in behavior. This is due to the dopamine released in your brain when celebrating your achievement.

The best part is that if you do this enough, achieving even the biggest goals in your life will no longer require a lot of effort or be unenjoyable. Instead, your brain will recognize that achieving is worth the effort and due to the fact that you, and ultimately the brain, enjoy the dopamine received from achievement, you’ll begin to soar.

Our brains need positive feedback, so allowing yourself to be rewarded will develop an “addiction to progress” that will cause your brain to want to carry on to the next steps.

When energy is low, it can be challenging to accomplish anything.

When you celebrate your small victories, you will give yourself little hits of energy that will add up over time.

Appreciation is key.

Appreciation can sometimes be played down in life, and we often forget to appreciate what we’ve done and what we have. Appreciating our small wins and the small steps we take can be the difference between failing and…
